The work that has been produced by this year’s Textile Design graduating students is packed full of skills and creativity. The work is the result of excellent research, which forms the basis upon which the students have applied their critical, creative thinking to develop unique textile designs.

It is has been a pleasure to work with these students and watch them gain confidence as their skills have developed and been applied to produce the work that you see on show. Some of the students have already been successful in securing their first professional positions where they will push forward and apply their knowledge and skills gained from undertaking their degree in textile Design.

The Textile Design team would like to wish the 2016 graduating students all the very best in their future careers and in fulfilling their dreams and aspirations. It has been a pleasure to be part of your achievements.

Some of the work by these graduating Textile Design students will be on show at ‘New Designers’ at the Business Design Centre in London 29th – 2nd June 2016.
