Throughout the last semester I have directed my design focus to reflect my desired career path in the Women’s Lingerie and Swimwear sector.
With inspiration drawn from the Tropical Rainforest, this collection is comprised of both abstract prints based on water reflections and tropical textures, as well as distinct, motif based prints of leaves and florals. This combination highlights the diversity of the Tropical Rainforest and has enabled me to have a collection of distinctly different, yet connected prints.
The bright, bold colours of the Swimwear is complimented by the darker, more mysterious tones of the Lingerie, and together they portray not only what we see on the surface of a rainforest, but also the deeper, more unknown aspects that we imagine.
