My final collection comprises of laser cut floral motifs made using unconventional materials of acrylic perspex, leatherette and latex. These are used to present an explosion of colour and contrasting surfaces. Hand and digital embroidery have also been explored to add extra detail and varying textures. Since the three years of completing my textiles degree mark making techniques
have been strongly apparent throughout my visual research. This has been another important aspect in my work which has been applied through the use of different embroidery techniques in my final pieces suitable for haute couture womenswear.
