This collection captures the natural effect of rust and erosion. With the incorporation of florals and the 2016 colour trends, this allowed my design range to be split into two market sectors; one for luxury wallpapers and the other for high end spring summer women’s wear. Creating visual research was a main drive throughout my project as this allowed me to be creative, experimenting with colour, motifs, scale and composition. Research was also undertaken in both market sectors to gain knowledge of current trends. My design and knowledge was then combined with the use of CAD to allow me to create designs appropriate for digital print.
