COLOUR ME MINE produces consumer interactive collections which encourages creativity through its colour-in garments. Initially inspired by stencilling, my brand utilises screen printing to form the patterns designed for colouring in, and aims to provide the consumer with limitless opinions in the colour application of these garments. The prints used for the first COLOUR ME MINE collection include prints influenced by shapes found in images of urban areas in the United States. This collection combines curved, oversized shapes influenced by the 1990’s hip hop music scene with tailoring finishes as inspired by personal experiences taken from my industrial placement in order to refine the casual attitude of the silhouette inspiration. COLOUR ME MINE aspires to be fun, creative, and limitless in its possibilities.
