These images are a selection from a series of twelve representing a collaboration between the skinhead subculture and the brand Fred Perry; they capture traditional British heritage and the classic Fred Perry style whilst conveying the attitude and emotions of the skinhead culture. The model is the main focus of the photographs, intending to represent the unavoidable, strong attitude of individuals in the skinhead culture. An innovative use of camera angles and framing creates the illusion of a powerful relationship between the model and the observer. By partnering these two concepts it creates a unique fresh style to the photographs.
