Suzanna Cook

Throughout my 4th year of studying Fashion Design, I have learnt and developed a wide range of skills. My placement year allowed me to explore different parts of the industry and has influenced some of my work in final year.

One of my design collections for my portfolio focuses on Welsh Tradition and the beauty of the symbols that surround Wales. This collection is aimed at ‘Jenny Packham’, one of the companies I worked with during my Year in Industry. The main influences for this collection are the symbolic daffodil, the Welsh poppy and the traditional love spoons which gives the collection a romantic feel.

For styling and photography I took another brand I worked for in my placement year, ‘Chrisanne Clover’. I combined a nude make up palette, minimal styling and glamorous ballroom and Latin dresses, to create contemporary photographs, suited to Purple and Self-Service Magazines.
