My collections are based around the inspiration from elegant lace fabric and bohemian wedding bouquets. These bouquets consist of bright florals, organic forms and delicate lace elements to accompany them, which are apparent in my designs. The two collections are split between A/W ‘17 and S/S’17 for women’s jumpsuits or playsuits. Designers such as Timorous Beasties and the work of Ted Baker have been another source of inspiration for the collections. There is range between bright pinks and oranges suitable for summer; to rich burgundy’s and teal’s suitable for winter, all enticing and flattering colours to be worn. The lace element of the designs show through the intricate singular mandala motifs that layer across the florals to add the illusion the material is lace. Both collections are an accumulation of vibrant florals, lace components and 3-dimensional elements.
